We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Freight Froward Administrator to join our clients team in South Tyneside.
Duties
- Speaking to customers and taking bookings
- Checking and allocation of cargo to correct flight/services
- Completion of MAWB and HAWB’s
- Entering details into the system
- Order chasing and accounts queries
- Checking and sending out invoices
- Controlling proof of delivery
- Process Import/Export shipments
- Manage incoming calls and correspondence
- Perform data entry tasks ensuring all records are up to date
- Organise and maintain office files
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for staff members.
- Provide clerical support including typing documents, preparing reports, and managing office supplies.
Experience
- Experience of working in a freight forwarding role is essential
- Computer literate
- Excellent customer service and telephone skills
- Have to be able to work comfortably as a team player as well as being self motivated
- Willingness and acceptance to be flexible in all aspects of training programmes
- Willingness to work out of hours when required
Hours of operation are Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30
