We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Freight Froward Administrator to join our clients team in South Tyneside.

Duties

  • Speaking to customers and taking bookings
  • Checking and allocation of cargo to correct flight/services
  • Completion of MAWB and HAWB’s
  • Entering details into the system
  • Order chasing and accounts queries
  • Checking and sending out invoices
  • Controlling proof of delivery
  • Process Import/Export shipments
  • Manage incoming calls and correspondence
  • Perform data entry tasks ensuring all records are up to date
  • Organise and maintain office files
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for staff members.
  • Provide clerical support including typing documents, preparing reports, and managing office supplies.

Experience

  • Experience of working in a freight forwarding role is essential
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills
  • Have to be able to work comfortably as a team player as well as being self motivated
  • Willingness and acceptance to be flexible in all aspects of training programmes
  • Willingness to work out of hours when required

Hours of operation are Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30
