Our client is currently looking for a trainee fabricator who have experience of using hand tools and reading engineering.Job Description
- Weld joints in accordance with instructions
- Use Hand tools / Machines as directed, such as Plastic welding, routers, manual miller, and Pillar drills.
- follow instructions on how to work with engineering drawings and CAD models.
- Develop knowledge of the range and properties of materials.
- Use high-quality jointing methods and materials to produce finished goods in accordance with customer specifications.
- Follow job sheets and/or other instruction material provided for the manufacture of goods.
- Develop knowledge and understanding of ISO standards.
- Report NCRs to your team leader/ line manager
- Follow risk assessments and health and safety training.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment (housekeeping) in accordance with company policy.
Person Specification:
- Previous experience in production, assembly, welding or fabricating environments would be desirable
- Ability to use hand tools and read drawings
- Strong communication skills and a team player
This is a permanent day shift position for the right person
