Purpose of Role:
We’re seeking an experienced Process Improvement Engineer to lead the charge in optimising manufacturing processes and boosting efficiency within the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying, designing and implementing enhancements to the process
- Conduct in-depth analyses of current manufacturing workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
- Lead initiatives to streamline processes, reduce waste and improve productivity
- Implement and sustain lean manufacturing methodologies, such as Six Sigma, across the facility
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and introduce best practices in production
- Optimise material flow, equipment utilisation and production layouts.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring efficient and scalable production processes
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of improvement projects
- Act as a change agent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Person Specification:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong knowledge of lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process mapping tools
- Proficiency in 3D CAD/CAM software and MS Office applications
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to lead and influence at all levels
- Proactive, hands-on approach to identifying and implementing solutions
- Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards
This is a permanent day shift position.
