Purpose of Role:

We’re seeking an experienced Process Improvement Engineer to lead the charge in optimising manufacturing processes and boosting efficiency within the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying, designing and implementing enhancements to the process
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of current manufacturing workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
  • Lead initiatives to streamline processes, reduce waste and improve productivity
  • Implement and sustain lean manufacturing methodologies, such as Six Sigma, across the facility
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and introduce best practices in production
  • Optimise material flow, equipment utilisation and production layouts.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring efficient and scalable production processes
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of improvement projects
  • Act as a change agent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation

Person Specification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong knowledge of lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process mapping tools
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD/CAM software and MS Office applications
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to lead and influence at all levels
  • Proactive, hands-on approach to identifying and implementing solutions
  • Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards

This is a permanent day shift position.
