Our client is looking for an experienced plasma operator.
Responsibilities
- Operating plasma machine
- Working from engineering drawings
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
- Follow detailed instructions for tooling setups and adjustments as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in operating machinery within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with grinding processes and tooling setups is advantageous.
- Basic maths skills for accurate measurements are required.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to maintaining safety standards in the workplace is crucial.
