Our client is expanding and looking for a plater to join the team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal parts using various tools and techniques.
Job Specification:
- Carry out plating operations following work instructions
- Read drawings to ensure that steel is cut to specification
- Accurately assemble and ensure that plating is carried out to spec
- Cut and prepare plates / sections
- Assemble fabrication work to pass to welders for final assembly
- Work with inspections and quality teams
Person Specification:
- Time served fabricating/plating
- Heavy engineering experience is essential
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for metalwork
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
- Mechanical knowledge for understanding machinery and equipment
This is an on going position working permanent day shift.
