We are working alongside a well established fabrication company in the Newton Aycliffe area who are seeking a dedicated and proficient Welder with structural steel experience.

Looking to fill day shift positions

Responsibilities:

Perform bare wire welding on structural steel components.
MIG Welding
Reading engineering drawings
Set up welding equipment and select appropriate techniques.
Conduct inspections to ensure welds meet quality standards.
Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and objectives.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines and industry regulations.

Requirements:

Must have proven experience welding structural steel
Proficiency in various welding techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Hourly Rate:

£16.00 per hour

Working 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday

You will be expected to undertake a weld test if successful for an interview
